Dr. Raghuveer Reddy — Consultant Arthroscopic Surgeon in Hyderabad

Dr. Raghuveer Reddy is a Consultant Arthroscopic Surgeon at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, with more than 35 years of experience across orthopedics, sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery.

His list covers the sports knee, the shoulder and the elbow. He performs ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair and arthroscopic surgery, treats shoulder instability and frozen shoulder, and manages tennis elbow, golfer's elbow and trigger finger. His arthroplasty work is total knee, partial knee and shoulder replacement, and his trauma work is fracture fixation, non-union repair and tendon repair.

His training is documented across four countries. He read M.B.B.S. at the University of Mysore between 1986 and 1991, took his M.S. in orthopaedics at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal between 1992 and 1995, and the D.N.B. in orthopaedics in December 1996. His arthroscopy and knee surgery fellowship followed at Manipal between 1997 and 1998, sports medicine at the Technical University of Munich in 1998, and shoulder surgery twice: at the Western Shoulder Clinic in Perth in 2005 and at the Carell Clinic in Dallas in 2010.

He is an executive member and national faculty member of the Indian Arthroscopy Society, sits on the medical advisory board of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, and has lectured at IAS, ISAKOS and OASIS meetings. His unit is recognised as a learning centre for training orthopaedic surgeons in arthroscopic surgery.
