Dr. Surendra Nath Khanna — Chairperson in Delhi NCR

Dr. Surendra Nath Khanna is Chairperson of Adult Cardiac Surgery and Heart-Lung Transplant at Artemis Hospital in Delhi NCR, with more than 34 years of experience in cardiac surgery.

His list covers coronary artery bypass grafting and redo CABG, heart valve repair and replacement, double valve replacement, aortic root replacement and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, along with LVAD implantation, heart transplant surgery and combined heart-lung transplantation.

After MBBS, an MS and the MCh he took four fellowships: the FICS in the USA, the FIACS, FAMS, and the FICC of the Indian College of Cardiology.

The Heart Care Foundation of India gave him a Distinguished Service Award at BSNL Dil ka Darbar in September 2010 and a National Excellence Award at the MTNL Perfect Health Mela in October 2011. He also received an Award of Excellence in Cardiology at the World Congress on Clinical, Preventive, Geriatric Cardiology and Imaging in October 2010, and is an honorary professor in the faculty of medical sciences at Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University in Arunachal Pradesh.
