Dr. Sandeep Kumar Deep is Consultant in Robotic Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic Surgery at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad, in the Delhi NCR, with more than 12 years of experience.

His list is wide. Arthroplasty covers total knee and total hip replacement, partial and robotic knee replacement, and revision knee and hip replacement. Sports and arthroscopic work covers ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair and rotator cuff repair. He also treats tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, trigger finger, frozen shoulder and advanced knee osteoarthritis, and performs fracture fixation, non-union repair and joint injection.

He read MBBS at Darbhanga Medical College in Bihar and took his MS in orthopaedics at Agartala Govt. Medical College in Tripura. Four fellowships followed, in three countries: arthroscopy and arthroplasty at Blackburn Teaching Hospital and Burnley General Hospital in the UK, joint replacement in Adelaide, arthroscopy and sports medicine at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, and robotic primary, complex and revision hip and knee replacement at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Patparganj.

His published work is recent and largely on functional outcomes after fixation. He has reported on distal femoral fractures treated with a locking compression plate, on arthroscopic ACL reconstruction using a peroneus longus tendon autograft, on plate osteosynthesis in distal humerus and midclavicular fractures, and on blood loss, pain score and outcome in bilateral total knee arthroplasty with and without a tourniquet.

He won gold and silver medals for paper presentations at NEOSCON 2019 in Gangtok and the East Zone round of the Torrent Young Scholar Awards in 2018.
