What is Endobronchial Biopsy?
Endobronchial biopsy uses forceps through a flexible bronchoscope to remove small pieces of a lesion visibly arising from or infiltrating the airway lining. It supplies tissue architecture for histology and, when sufficient viable tumour remains, immunohistochemistry and molecular testing.
