Dr. Prapti Modi — Associate Consultant in Delhi NCR

Dr. Prapti Modi is an Associate Consultant at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad, in the Delhi NCR, with more than 10 years of experience in gynaecology.

Her clinical range is wide for the length of her career. She manages uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, and provides menopause management, with endometriosis recorded as both treatment and surgery. Her operating list covers hysterectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery, endometriosis surgery, pelvic organ prolapse surgery, endometrial ablation, and uterine polyp removal by hysteroscopic polypectomy.

She qualified MBBS at the SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in Davangere, Karnataka, under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and took her MD in obstetrics and gynaecology at King George's Medical College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She also holds the DNB. Two further credentials map directly onto her list: the FMAS, a fellowship in minimal access surgery, and the CIMP, which credentials her as an IMS menopause practitioner.

Her recognition comes from her training years and from national meetings. She received the Dr. P.L. Mahajan Gold Medal for most humane resident of the year at King George Medical College, took third prize in a quiz competition on biochemical aneuploidy screening and the genetic sonogram in the Sono Web Series on the second trimester obstetric scan, and third prize for a poster at North Zone Yuva FOGSI 2020.

She is a member of FOGSI, of UPCOG and of the IMS.
