Dr. Mohammed Abdun Nayeem is Clinical Director and Head of the Department of Liver Transplantation, HPB and GI Surgery at Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, in Hyderabad, with more than 25 years of experience. His profile records surgical gastroenterology together with gastroenterology and hepatobiliary medicine.

He ranked first in the All India MCh surgical gastroenterology entrance examination at Delhi University in 2007 and took second prize in the quiz at the IASG conference at AIIMS the same year, with a best poster award at the IHPBA conference in Bangalore in 2009.

He is a life member of the Liver Transplant Society of India, the Association of Surgeons of India, IASG and IHPBA, and a member of ILTS, IASGO and the Royal and American colleges of surgeons.
