Dr. Deepak Kumar Panigrahi — Senior Consultant in Delhi NCR

The second is COVID-19 in transplant recipients, where he published two retrospective studies from a tertiary care centre in 2022, one on the clinical profile and outcome of the disease and one on its pattern and outcome during the second wave of the pandemic in India.

Transplant recipients on immunosuppression were among the most exposed patients of that period, and two papers tracking them across successive waves come from a service that was managing them throughout.

He is a member of the Indian Society of Nephrology, the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation and the Association of Physicians of India, and previously worked at Narayana Super Speciality Hospital in Gurugram.
