Dr. A Anitha is a Senior Consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, in Bengaluru, with more than 20 years of experience in nephrology.

Her list covers chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, lupus nephritis and polycystic kidney disease, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, percutaneous renal biopsy, and transplant care from pre-transplant evaluation through follow-up and graft dysfunction management.

Her published case work covers rarer ground. She has written on collagen type III diseases in IJPM in March 2016, contributed a nephrology image of intravascular B cell lymphoma to Kidney International in June 2016, and published on fungal urinary tract infection in a neonate in IJN in March 2017.

Those three papers span a hereditary disease, a malignancy presenting through the kidney and an infection in a newborn, which is a wide span for a single record.
